Mind-kind, Heaven and Earth

Find a spiritual lineage or text, and you a find the tri-level of being. Every transient being experiences a unique view that is a combination of the three Treasures, Doshas, Huns, and Gunas.

Each of the previous words differs slightly in their expanded view. Ultimately they represent the higher plane, the plane below, and the middle plane.

The three Treasures of Taoism are Jing, Qi, and Shen. Jing is the actual material that we borrow from planet earth to make a terrestrial suit for our soul or atma to experience this plane. The Shen or consciousness assigned to managing that material ensures the heart continues to beat, food digest, oxygen intake, and waste elimination occur in an orderly fashion. The actual action of the consciousness directing the material flesh to operate is called Qi or Prana. It is the animation of the form (jing) led by the operations director (Shen). These are the Three Treasures for the original soul or observer to utilize and harmonize.

The management or cycles of these three forms act in a specific order under specific laws. This order is a progression of the five elements being the refined view of the yin and yang phases. These Treasures loosely relate to Doshas as Kapha ( Jing / most dense), Pitta (Qi / lively with substance), and Vata (Shen / thought dominate). The Gunas as material (jing) focused (tamasic), desire (qi) driven (rajas), and higher thinking (Shen/ sattvic). These words expected to usher in self-study and higher understanding of

the temporary nature of form and our Earthly incarnations. If we incarnate on Earth, then there is a ‘we’ that exists outside of Earth.

Who is that part of us that exists outside of form? And what are that individual’s nature, path, and purpose?

How is it that we come to have this particular experience? This body? This luck? This mind? The formula behind this is the entrance through the seeming emptiness of space into a form. The actual event of joining the body and cooperating with the elemental cycles and rules of use for this body in the planet earth environment.

These are three distinct coatings or paint applications that paint the picture of who we believe we are today.

One is our nature, second is the body (DNA mixture), and third the total impacts from our environment, timing, and free will.

Consider this. You are between incarnations (in the bardo outside of the form), and it’s time to transition and go through the next bardo what we call birth. Birth is merely binding a soul to a body comprised of DNA, environmental matter, placed in particular timing. This mixture creates a lens for the soul to look out of during life on Earth. This lens has the residue of your previous actions, a smattering of DNA propensities, and new smears from your imprinting this go-round.

Your previous actions (and previously unfulfilled desires) are the first coating your soul receives as you transition from the bardo of formlessness to the bardo of birth on planet earth. This first coating is called karma and delivered by the entities that keep records the planets. As you pass the worlds on the way in, these records become imprinted upon you as unfinished business to take care of this go-round. This same karma allows you to have some say your body and life situation in which you will finish this business. An example is you may choose to be in a female body. However, your residual karma is masculine. So you become a yang female. Your previous karma may allow for that yang female to tend to be an active leader or an aggressive thug. Your freewill determines what you choose. This coating points to your nature, and the planetary position of which you enter your body shows this in the birth chart. A birth chart is a great gift found in the use of astrology. Know what you have got, to learn the propensities and cycles, and choose to make the best of them along your journey. Remember that these karmas may not all arrive upon birth. They may seem to come out of the blue throughout life said to be from the planets holding records and releasing your karma after the age of 18.

Let’s call this the Astro coating. It is not you; you are the soul transiting past the stars and planets; it is just a coating of heaven.

The next coating is biological mixing—the intelligence of your family’s DNA mixing with the earthly molecules in your parent’s environment. This layer will include your karma or dosha (constitution). You may be born into a family with dark skin, eyes, and hair however, your astrological coating presents light skin, eyes, and hair. So you may have much lighter pigment than the rest of your family. Maybe you were born under a Vata and thin boned sign, but your family DNA is Kapha or thick boned

you may present as the one with the lightest bone structures in your family. BUT you will still look like your blood (DNA) family overall.

The final coating is an environmental flow and lifestyle mixture. How you cooperate with the five-element constitutions, determine the quality of this coating. Awareness of daily routines that fit the body’s health clock, the energetic flow of the space (Feng Shui and Vastu), and the actual climate allow for harmony while remaining ignorant increases suffering. We are a product of our environment.

To study these three heaven, man, and Earth; the self will adequately know how to care and adjust course to reduce suffering.
