Gravity and Photons - The Science and Art of Four Pillars Astrology

What is the connection between photons and astrology? Gravity and Photons - The Science and Art of Four Pillars Astrology

When sitting with clients for their Lifepath astrology consultations, these are the two words permanently installed at the beginning of the conversation. Understanding that the moon pushes and pulls on the ocean's extensive body of water connects to the human body in which we dwell, being of a high water percentage - 60-90% depending on who you ask, but always agreed over half water. With straightforward deductive reasoning, we can see how the moon's gravity affects our bio-suit and gives voice to how we sometimes feel pulled to do something or as though something is pushing on us, even though we cannot see it. Continuing the logic that one rock in space has a gravitational effect on us as it moves towards and away from the Earth, we extend this understanding to all the relative rocks in our galaxy and their gravitational effects. In Vedic Astrology, the planets translate to Graha's, referring to 'that which grabs you.' Although modern science is currently rejecting Astrology as a science, we may well keep in mind that Galileo understood the science of Astrology. For a time, his theories that went against the status quo were radical and unaccepted. In 1633 when Galileo proposed that the Earth was unmoving and in a static position with the Sun moving around the Earth, the Roman Catholic Church forced him to renounce it — this is the same group who used Astrology to find their leading man, Jesus Christ. At various times in human history, the ruling powers have shifted views from supporting to renouncing Astrology based on their ideologies. Gravity and photons (our following discussion) may go unnoticed, much like radio and microwaves have for centuries, until one day, use becomes mandatory again.

Moving toward the second word, photons, we are discussing light from the perspective of atoms. As we know, atoms are spacious items with a small chunk of form in the middle called a nucleus. Orbiting the area of an atom are, of course, protons, electrons, and neutrons. A code of sorts groups atoms together to tell them what form to take - the shape of a chair, a lightbulb, a plant, a human body, etc. Since an atom is mostly space, the amount of light moving through this area has an effect. We know that our planet is inherently dark, and it is our closest star - the Sun - that gives us light to see and grow. Returning to deductive reasoning, we can understand how the light from our star (the Sun) and all stars, by extension, impact life on Earth, including our body's growth (energy) and mental states.

The human body both receive and emit light via Kirchoff's law of radiation. The light emitted is known as Bioluminescence, and although too dim for human eyes, yet is capturable with modern technology. Within the Bioluminescence, photons are emitted from the body, supporting the understanding from Jyotish (the study of frozen light) that the body is merely atoms vibrating at a specific speed and is closer to the emptiness of light that is solid and dense as many may perceive. By bridging the saturation of photons with yin yang theory, we can validate the light or darkness in a birth chart based on light beams gathered at birth impacting one's suit.

As we unfold a chart, we look at the light and darkness (yin and yang) in a chart when the being and the body establish a connection (birth). There are debates on the timing of said connection, so for ease of complete agreement, we know that once the breath draws in, the being has arrived Earthside, and the link between the being and body completes. We use a snapshot of the sky from this agreement to understand how the light was bending and the pressures applied and create a birth chart.

As one looks forward, astronomical movements are studied to calculate current and incoming cosmic weather so we may adjust and 'dress' appropriately. Reducing the words good or bad to and understanding that if the forecast is to be cold, one should use a jacket to stay warm. Conversely, if it is hot, dress lightly. When we respond accordingly, suffering reduces, achieving the primary use of the 'Four Pillars' astrology.

Other uses for Four Pillars Astrology begin with knowing thyself and expand to coexistence with others. All three discussions (incoming weather, self-study, and understanding others) occur in the art of Lifepath chart consultations.

Each of the Four Pillars directly connects to constellations or star groupings emitting light pulses or vibrations commonly described as elements once they enter the Earth's atmosphere. Many ancient wisdom traditions describe elements as a specific pattern or quality and simplify categories for easier understanding and balancing.

In BaZi or Chinese Astrology, the five elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. While in Vedic Astrology, the five elements are Ether, Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. By bridging wood and ether, they exhibit an energetic or etheric nature. Metal (aka minerals) and Air relate to the atmosphere. Air is not just oxygen (thus the separate name). It is a mixture of minerals, connecting metal and Air into categories of the like. The measurement of light and dark in a BaZi chart expressed in elemental attributes gives an understanding of the saturations or luminosity of the pillars and the individual. Similarly, the Lifepath is a method of seeing the light and expansion or dark and contraction that occurs and influences one's journey.

If you have looked up your BaZi chart, you will know that animals are also associated with describing the present energies. These, too, are funneled into elements for explaining the attributes of the individual. For example, one born under the year of the Earth Pig carries the Earth Element within its character and the Water element assigned to the pig itself. So one could see a mixture of Earth and Water for this particular creature describing a sweet being who goes with the flow yet runs the danger of becoming stuck in the mud on any level - mentally, energetically, or physically inert.

BaZi itself translates to 'eight characters.' Keeping two characters (main element and an animal title) in each of the Four Pillars to create the eight total characters. Once establishing a chart, the process begins to connect each character to its corresponding I Ching image and constellations. These constellations determine the LifePath image constellation bringing one full circle to the impact of light in one's life.
